The Simon Family JCC serves the recreational, cultural, and social needs of the entire Community…spanning every age group, religious affiliation and economic status. Although supported primarily by member’s dues and fees, the center serves the overall community as well. Most cultural events, educational programs and exhibits are open to the public. In addition, the center is a beneficiary of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, and of the United Way of South Hampton Roads.
Our aquatics facility has been selected as the winner of the
"2010 Aquatics International Best Aquatics Facility!"

I’m taking a short “time-out” from the buzz of activity surrounding the JCC’s fall programs, to wish you and your loved ones a L’Shana Tova – a happy, healthy New Year filled with wonder and delights! May each of us be inscribed in the Book of Life for the year to come. Rosh HaShana presents each of us with the opportunity to look back on our accomplishments for the year, and to set goals for the year ahead. Here at the Simon Family Jewish Community Center, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
Kids ConnectionThe Simon Family JCC's Before and AFter School Program (serving kindergarten – 5th grades) Kids Connection is the Simon Family JCC’s Before & After School Program. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and educational before & after school experience for children Kindergarten to 5th grade thus helping working parents and guardians in our community. With an amazing facility, trained staff, and quality programs, Kids Connection at the Simon Family JCC is becoming a sought destination to families with school-aged children. Our philosophy focuses on and goes beyond the key factors families are looking for when it comes to before & after school programs.

Jewish Life & Learning The Center for Jewish Life and Learning promotes Jewish literacy, learning, exploration, and innovation through classes, workshops, lectures, and public forums. The Center's diverse opportunities for learning and celebration are open to all and addresses adults at every level of Jewish education.
